By the end of 2023, FDI had 8 new customers, 32 million euros in sales, 963 network subscribers and 36 new friendly employees.
A high-performance 4.0 production site
Thanks to its 4.0 production tool, its 4,000 m² dedicated to production and its qualified teams, FDI manufactured more than 2.9 million finished products during the year 2023 for more than 95 million installed components. A high production rate to meet the growing needs of FDI markets and customers.
During the year, FDI also made major investments in product development, including an X3 laser marking machine, a screen cleaning machine and a MY300 DX SMD + handling machine.
The environment, at the heart of FDI’s priorities
FDI is fully committed to the sustainability and recyclability of its products, and places particular emphasis on the recovery of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), of which it succeeded in recovering 92.4% in 2023. FDI is staying the course, aiming for even higher WEEE recovery in 2024.
On a broader scale, FDI is also taking action to:
- Reduce its electricity consumption,
- Encourage low-carbon mobility,
- Promote biodiversity by hosting beehives,
- Reduce its ecological footprint by opting for eco-pasturing,

The FDI friendly team expands
FDI received no fewer than 997 job applications in 2023, and recruited 36 new staff across all profiles: permanent, fixed-term or work-study, in production, the design office or support services. Backed by its values and welcoming environment, FDI also trained 23 interns in 2023. A dynamic and responsible employment policy, punctuated by three highlights in 2023:
- FDI’s participation in Safari du Numérique in Angers,
- FDI’s first Friendly Dating at its Cholet site,
FDI’s participation in the Cholet job fair.
In 2024, FDI is continuing to recruit and plans to welcome 20 additional friendly employees.
