Launch of FrenchControl’s first range of
4-channel remote controls.

Launch of SimplyControl’s second range of
2-channel remote controls.
French manufacturing of products and services accessible to all
As part of its CSR approach, SCS Sentinel has set itself targets of generating 20% of its sales from products or services linked to products developed or manufactured within URMET Group, or locally (France and Europe). This may seem a difficult target for electronic products sold in large-scale retail outlets, but it’s a challenge that SCS Sentinel and FDI have decided to take up together
iSCS Sentinel, an application developed by FDI
Launched in 2020, this application reflects the desire to develop new synergies within URMET Group, facilitated by the relocation in Cholet in 2021. Indeed, physical proximity of FDI developers – working on the same site as SCS Sentinel – facilitates day-to-day collaboration and ensures fluid communication.

FrenchControl remote control manufacturing.
In early 2023, the first SCS Sentinel remote controls left FDI’s factory. A proud achievement after many months of research, design and production. This first step is significant in that it paves the way for other projects and approaches.

Development & manufacture of new SimplyControl remote control
In parallel with this launch, development and manufacture of a new remote control was initiated. The challenge for this remote control was to further optimize the design and offer best value for money on the market. This is how SimplyControl came into being in April 2024. A 100% eco-designed remote control with two channels and available in 5 colors.
