Bespoke support
FDI played a key role in drafting Horoquartz’s specifications. These were tailored to take needs as well as opportunities into account in conjunction with our in-house engineers. Electronic circuit components are chosen to be totally in line with the product’s lifecycle. The real challenge for the teams was to draw up precise specifications that were consistent with the customer’s requirements.
FDI then studied the industrialization of the product. This involved multi-disciplinary, in-house support to ensure that the solution was tailor-made and satisfactory.
All-inclusive product
FDI delivers an all-inclusive product to Horoquartz: PCBs mounted and assembled in the reader; power supply & an optional keypad. Accessories such as electromagnetic locks, power supply & brackets are also delivered to the customer.
Ease-of-use
It requires no electronic cables as it uses a PoE supply. The FDI-developed reader is easy to connect to a corporate Ethernet network. Employees just need to show their RFID cards to use the time clock.
The offer
For this support, FDI proposes an all-inclusive service that comprises: the design & technical study, the technical & mechanical study and development, the production tools (PCB, screen printing, etc.), Lexan and plastic injection.
