Description
The Urmet Ipercom intercom can be integrated with iPassan. This integration has multiple benefits:
- The control panel stores the events related to the intercom, so it offers the possibility to know if a call was made, when, and who opened the door for the visitor.
- With the aim of securing goods and people, this method of event management meets various regulations (UL293 or SBD in England).
- It increases security by using the central unit’s relay instead of using the relay of the door station which could be vandalised.
- When the resident authorises the opening of the door, the central unit receives the message via the 2Voice bus and releases the door to be opened.
- The wiring is simplified.
- The iPassan access control system allows the visitor to enter the right lift and access the right floor only by knowing which resident/floor has opened the door.
- Each button on the handsets and door station can control up to 4 doors or relays (for example : interlock mode + lighting).
iPassan natively integrates door access control. To ensure integration of the intercom with the lift via access control, the system requires the activation card: FD-050-105.
This integration, via the FD-050-105 activation card, allows residents to authorise their visitors to access only the correct lifts and floors.
In addition, the integration uses TCP/IP between the Ipercom panels and the iPassan central units: there is no need to connect multiple dry contacts between the two environments.
