iPassan allows the integration of the license plate recognition solution called: Innova.
Thanks to an IP dialogue between the server or the camera and the central unit, the number plate can be transmitted in full. Thus, it is the plate number itself that will be programmed into the software and not a Wiegand equivalent.
Whether cars are allowed or refused entry, events and plate numbers are recorded in clear text.
The integration of four license plate reading cameras is possible on the same control unit with the activation card FD-050-098.
In this mode, the control unit requests the reading of the plate. In order to be able to ask the camera for the car’s number plate, a car detection loop is usually placed on the ground and connected to the control unit. The control centre then authorises the passage of the car or not.
