Description
More than a conventional exit button, the FDI contactless door button provides an increased level of security thanks to its “double cage”, vandal protection and the FDI security protocol.
The contactless output button also provides more modularity in use thanks to its two opening modes, its adaptability to alternating current and continuous currents, and the possibility to inhibit the “contactless” function.
In fact, the FDI contactless door knob is equipped with two completely electrically isolated cages. The NO knob used to control the push button input of the control unit can never be in direct contact with the NC contact wired in series on the power supply of the breakaway lock.
Unlike the infrared buttons on the market, which can be fraudulently activated from outside the building with a laser or a commercial infrared remote control, the FDI model offers a higher level of security. In fact, the FDI contactless door knob has a coded thread from its proprietary protocol and thus prevents any attempt to bypass it.
The FDI non-contact door knob has an IK10 protection rating and meets the highest IK protection level.
