Description
Urmet 2Voice is integrable with iPassan. This integration offers a host of advantages:
- Intercom-related events (call in progress, door opening, etc.) are stored in the controller. As such, it is possible to know when a call has been made and who opened a door for a visitor.
This event management meets specific regulations designed to secure resources and people (UL293 / SBD in UK for example) - Enhance security by using the controller as a relay rather than the door entry panel that can be vandalized.
When a resident opens a door for a visitor, the controller reads the message on the 2Voice bus and frees the right door on the controller.
Cabling is also simplified. - As iPassan knows the floor the dwelling is located on, it can also let the visitor access only the lift(s) and floor required.
- Add flexibility. For each handset button and per entry panel, up to 4 doors or relays (SAS + lighting mode for example) can be managed.
Door access control is integrated in iPassan by adding a FD-500-570 interface.
The FD-050-096 activation card also enables integrating intercom in lifts. A card is required per controller managing the lift.
When this is integrated, visitors permitted to access by residents via the intercom are only permitted to access the lifts and floor required. Moreover, this integration uses the 2Voice – iPassan interface in such a way that there is no need to link multiple dry contacts between the two environments.
