IPassan is an intelligent, simple and high-tech IP access control system that has been designed exclusively for medium to large residential and commercial buildings.
Thanks to on-board intelligence and information storage, iPassan plants allow for local decision-making.
Access control is ensured in all cases, even if the server goes down.
IP access control for up to 2 doors
The iPassan access control unit has the ability to manage two. Its control capacity can be increased to 6 doors with a 3/4/5/6 door option card.
With the TCP/IP network or the RS485 bus, the iPassan control units can be connected to each other. In addition, the control units have a secondary RS485 bus that allows input or output modules to be connected to it. When access control UTLs are used for 2 doors only, they can be fitted with input or output options.

The iPassan Manager software is an intuitive and powerful tool, available in a cloud or local version, which allows a complete management of the system and the security of your buildings.
Only eight steps are required to configure the control unit via the wizard.

A secure access control LPU
Developed by FDI, the iPassan plant is scalable. Indeed, to allow maximum flexibility, the iPassan central unit is compatible with Wiegand FDI readers but also with Wiegand readers. The iPassan central unit is intelligent and records all the necessary information, enabling it to make decisions locally.

Power supply
The 2-door iPassan access control LPU runs on a 12 VDC power supply.
Connectivity
The connectors on the top of the iPassan controller provide an easy, affordable extension and extra advantage for:
- 12 input/output card or programmable outputs in iPassan Manager software. When it is complemented by the 4-door extension card, it can reach a total capacity of 6 doors per controller.
- The 2-door base controller address is configured by entering the device number in the software.
Communication
An Ethernet port for LAN connection.
Two RS-485 communication ports can also be used: one for communicating with other controllers (main) when they are not connected to the local network and one hosting Input/Output extensions (auxiliary).
A USB port for communicating with a server or computer.
Updating firmware
The 2-door iPassan base controller firmware can be updated using iPassan Manager software.
